Small Business web site design ~ There are no "set plans" for this service. I don't put any business or person into a boxed-in 'this site costs this much' plan. Every business, and person is different, and has different needs. I've created sites for as little as $50. Please contact me for a free estimate. There is no such thing as the perfect professional website, but I'll help make your dream of having "Your" own web site a perfect reality.
The pricse listed below are only rough estimates for a few graphics, interactive links, and some of the items that can be done with a web page. More advanced design such as frames, sound, java, Flash, and other visual effects will naturally increase the value and the cost of the site. Simple Single Page: $50.00 (sample)
Framed or iFrame Pages: $65.00 for frame, menu and content. (sample)
dhtml menus: $50.00 for the menu and installation. (sample)
Flash: Depending upon how complex you want your "Flash / Shockwave" page to be, costs can start at $100.00. (sample)

Membership Listing: * FREE * with any other web-friend, or computer related service. (a link to YOUR site listed at web-friend)
Page and Site Optimization: Prices can vary greatly for this depending on the size and complexity of the page or site. This service can include: Keywords, meta-tags, code cleaning, page encryption, and more. Costs start at $50.00 depending on the complexity of the service. Personalized Hosting: $25.00 per year for sites under 100 Kb. (web-friend.com/yoursite)
Business Listings: Price fluctuate greatly, so if you wish to be listed in the Internet Yellow Pages, GTE Superpages, or another "business" publication, please contact me directly for current prices.
Shopping Cart and Internet Accounting: Prices vary greatly for this service. This would be set up on a dedicated server, and billed on a monthly basis. Set-up fee, $35.00, not including costs of shopping cart server.
Personal page design ~ I also create personal "Home Pages" for people. Average costs run between $35.00 - $50.00 (depending on graphics and content) per page for approximately the same material that would cover a standard 8 1/2" x 11" printed page.Site Promotion: ~ Now you have your very own web site. That's great, but who knows about it? How do you get people to find it? How do you get search engines to list it? Designing a great looking web site is only the first part of promoting your business. You need to get listed in the search engines, have the right keywords behind your HTML, and be able to promote the site at minimal costs.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SEM (Search Engine Management) is fundamental to marketing and the promotion of your site on the Internet. If you're not getting good SERP (Search Engine Results Pages) then you need to look into this aspect of your business web site. I can help evaluate the demographics you're trying to reach, assist you in targeting the right audience, and provide improved page rankings so that your site will be found by those searching the web for the types of services you offer. Page Hosting:
Sites under 100 Kb can be hosted for as little as $25.00 per year; however - if you require monthly maintenance and changes, or your site requires more than 100 Kb of space, then costs can be negotiated.Domain Registration and site setup:Those who wish to have their own site set up on a server where they may have full access to the files and the ability to upload or change the site in any way may do so. I generally charge a one time fee of $125.00 for the site set-up. This does not include setting up a top level domain such as "myname.com", only establishing an already existing site on the server of your choice. ("myname.someserver.com" or "someserver.com/myname").

So ... you want your own "Internet Presence." Let web-friend help you get established. For as low as $200.00 (includes 1 - 3 pages created and installed), I can have your site up and running. Monthly costs would depend on the server being used, and the maintenance involved. Did you know that many ISP servers offer 5 - 25 Meg. of space with your Internet account absolutely free? If you have Internet access, you may already have your own web site, and not even know what to do with it. Other "free servers" will allow you to post up to 5 to 50 Meg of pages on their site (with a variety of names available), although they will post their own advertisements on your page.Scanning and Graphic Design:You want to go for the whole ball of wax? YourName.com? No adds, No pop-up, Nothing but you and your services in the dot com world. I can get you set up, and running, and putting "your name" out on the Internet for as little as $300.00. This does not include any additional fees incurred by the server we decide to use for your site. Prices usually start at around $15 per month, not my cost, but the cost you must pay a provider to host your site.
Many companies that specialize in web promotion start at $800.00 and go up to $1,500.00 for this type of service.If you have pictures or images you would like scanned and used for a web site, please contact me. Generally the cost is $5.00 per 8 X 11 image. All materials will only be returned if a self-addressed, stamped envelope is included.Also, if you are interested in an original graphic design such as a 3D or interactive graphic, please call to discuss pricing.
* If you have already experienced the pain of paying out hard earned cash for a web site, only to have it half done, or having the site (and the designer) disappear with no explanation, then perhaps I can help.
