Samples Page:
No Right Click function

home | sitemap | sample Index

This page and this section of web-friend.com are only samples of various programming and page layout designs.

This section contains no valuable content other than to offer some of the various tools that may be employed when I create a web-page or web site for someone.

This page shows:
No Right Click function

This function may stop the new and casual surfer from right clicking on a page to save your graphics or code, however; more seasoned surfers and hackers will still be able to grab your stuff through other means (such as using the view source and cache files).  There are stronger methods of protecting your page available, and I will display a few in the near future.  HOWEVER, realize - that if you post something on the Internet, then it is very much open to being taken, saved, and reused by someone.

For many of the pages in this samples section, each page will be a copy, or duplicate of this page, with several items changed to reflect what that particular page demonstrates, and perhaps the credit that is due a particular author or web-site where copyrighted code may be found.

A couple questions and answers to html design:

Q: I've heard that you should create one style and stick with that style on a web site.  I notice that your site (web-friend.com) has many different styles, why?

A: This is true; however, since my site is also designed to promote my abilities as a webmaster, I prefer to show my visitors a sample of the types of layouts and designs that I am capable of.  For the most part, each section of my site (services, about this site, wallpaper, members wallpaper, vp rooms, help, etc.) all reflect a similar design for that particular area of the site as a whole.  To be perfectly frank, I have over 250 pages on this site, and it would get very boring (both for you as a surfer, and for me as a web designer) if every page reflected the same backgrounds, colors, fonts, etc., so I do tend to change styles around.
