Note: If you are installing a program for the first time:

Put disk number 1 of the program you want to install in a drive

Open your Control Panel

Find the Icon or item marked Install / Remove Software and click on it.
Windows will find the installation program for you (90%) of the time. It
will then give you the option to continue, exit, or look for a different
program. (If the program is on a floppy disk, or CD-ROM, and named
as a setup file such as install.exe, or setup.com, etc., then 95 will pick
that program by default)
Note: If you are using this option to uninstall, clicking the Add/Remove
button will start the uninstall process, and depending upon the program
itsself - it may uninstall at that point ... meaning you may not see a
choice of options to uninstall certain features. |
