My daughter is the one who suffered the most because of my love for the computer field. She was born in 1981, then in 1987 I discovered what a computer was. Because of my obsession with these computer things, she had to endure hours of her dad sticking his nose into a school book, monitor, tech journal, or magazine; trying to remove some of his computer ignorance. Playing Barbie dolls, watching Muppets, and other activities that little girls like to do with their fathers, got fewer hours than a young girl deserves. Jessie is the sweetest of young girls, and I could not have been more fortunate in having her as my friend, companion, and daughter. Because she was so good, and tries so hard to do the right things in life, she gave me the time and opportunity in life to learn what little I now know about computers. Jessie is now a teenager, and spends WAY TOO MUCH time with her friends; but, she is still supportive, still spends time with her dad, and is still the best friend I have.
