Reciprocal
Link Exchange |
Due to a very heavy work-load, I am unable to add links to the site at this time.
Submitting your link to the web-friend link exchange program:
First: web-friend.com is not an "automatic link submission", FFA, web site. I personally review each site, before posting acceptable links. In return a reciprocal link is expected. If you don't post reciprocal links, don't waste my time and yours by requesting one!
(Note: due to a current heavy work load, some links may take 10-14 days to get posted.)
Webmasters who use link managers read this link carefully.
|
Please submit only one link to each site / domain. It is rare that I'll supply multiple links to a single domain or site. I'm not an "I'll only add you if you add me first" webmaster, so I'm willing to work with any webmaster, and will take the first step when contacted; however ... I will also not add links to senseless, junk / filler types of sites. Your site must contain quality content! Small Businesses and Personal home pages are considered "quality content" in my eyes, and are gladly accepted. Poetry, personal home pictures, or just your views on the world are always welcome and encouraged. What is not encouraged is MMS (Mass Marketing Scams), FFA (Free For All), "work at home" scams, "pay per click affiliates, linkfarms, linkmanagers, FFA, cgi, php, asp, or dynamic database link sites - read this . If you have any questions, feel free to contact me directly. |
To submit your site, simply click the button below, and fill out the form.

Logos and banners: If you wish to exchange graphical links of some sort (banner, button, etc.) then provide me the relevant information in the request form. You can find graphics, banners, etc. for web-friend here.
Notes:
web-friend is always happy to exchange links with any quality computer, computer help, or Internet related web site / domain. Exchanging web links is a great way to increase link popularity, and improve page ranking in Google and other search engines. It is a proven fact that the more sites that are linked to 'your' site, the higher you will place in the search engines. This type of networking helps all those involved, and I give top priority attention to those who host true 'html' pages within their own domain.
In general, I prefer to exchange links with sites that have some common thread on their site. Any computer or Internet related site is always a welcome "friend" on my link pages. Hardware, software, programmers, or any site involved in the computer field at all, PC or Mac, are welcome additions to our link exchange program. Sites that are dedicated to SEO, SEM, PC help, tips, and tricks or Webmaster resources and information, or local computer services such as repair or training, website design (even in my local area) are especially welcome.
Since web-friend is such a large and diverse site, I also encourage a link exchange program with NASCAR or auto racing sites, VP or Chat related sites, and wallpaper sites (especially 3D Rendered Wallpaper). I have specific "link pages" dedicated to those topics or catagories, as well as computer help, webmasters, Linux users, and even a short political links page. View the "link list" here.
Important: You MUST supply a reciprocal link. If your links are managed dynamically, and additonal links eventually "bump" reciprocal links to another page without me being notified, then when I check back and find my page link missing, your site will be removed.
Remember: web-friend is a family oriented site, and not interested in supporting adult, illegal, or questionable material.
Poor choices for link exchanges to improve link popularity
are the "cgi" database page links. Search engines don't index
these SQL "database" pages, and links added to these FFA types of
sites are not picked up by the search engines. MMS (Mass marketing Scams)
and PPC (Pay Per Click) affiliate programs are never added. Don't bother
submitting a link to me like: earncash.com/member.cgi?1186. It won't be posted!
Linkmanagers: I am also not looking to exchange links with a site that uses a "link manager" domain for their links. You should post reciprocal links within YOUR OWN domain. Link Farms only appears as one domain to many search engines, and in fact most of these 'link collection' sites are not accepted by many top search engines. I have a "ton" of backlinks at linkmanager.com/***, they don't register in search popularity, and I don't need any more thank you. Use of the link manager software is a different issue, as long as the page that contains reciprocal links resides within the domain you are requesting a link to - I am more than happy to exchange links. [read more]. The truth of the matter is that it is more beneficial to a webmaster to have their link posted to "html" pages at individual domains.
A further note on dynamic data link exchanges. You run the risk of losing partners if they expect to see their reciprocal link on one page, but the database that writes the pages continually moves their links. Example: if the pages use this style of url: links?ID=page4.php, and newly added content to the page will move older content to another page, you won't be added. I understand that it is necessary to re-organize a link page from time to time, please let me know if you change where your linking my site from.
A quick "Google" tip: Google "ranks" pages, and one method it uses is to measure the number of sites that link to you, and the ranking of the page that posts your link. The better your link page(s) rank with Google, the more likely another webmaster is to exchange links with you. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SEM (Search Engine Management) helps improve your SERP (Search Engine Results Page), and thereby drives traffic to your site. This is why you will notice that many "link pages" listed within a sub-domain, or on a linkmanager site will often have little or no acceptable page ranking. Another note, it is always preferable to have your reciprocal links pages available directly from your home page within one or two clicks.
I don't see the value (and neither do the search engines) when a site that sells used cars, trades links with a site that deals with hair loss. (Although I'll admit, I've pulled my hair out a few times over some real lemons when it comes to used cars)
I do check my links from time to time, so if you move the page where you linked to me, please let me know. I've seen many large company deals where a personal site was purchased solely for the value that site had in the search engine and link back rankings. That company then goes on to another marketing scheme - and I won't be a part of that. If I can't find my link - I'll remove yours as well.
There is only one person who does these web-friend pages, and I am currently getting 10 - 15 requests per day. That being said, please be patient, I will get your link posted as soon as possible. I I also understand that time is a factor with other webmasters, so if it takes you a week or so to list my site - no problem.
